WCT’s “WCT Connect Launch Giveaway (“Contest”)
From Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. ET to Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Contest Period”)
1. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase required. To enter the Contest, participants must complete both of the following steps:
a) Visit WCT’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WomeninCommunicationsandTechnology and “Like” WCT’s contest post
b) Visit www.wctconnect.ca and create a profile.
Completion of these items signifies that you have read and agree to the official Contest Rules included in the post.
To be valid, entries must be received by Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Limit of one entry per person. If you attempt or are suspected of attempting to enter more than once, or use robotic, automatic, programmed or any other methods of participation not authorized by these Rules, it shall be deemed as tampering and will void your entries, votes or other results of such participation.
No submissions will be accepted after the deadline for any reason. Any entries received after the deadline will be void.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to all Canadian residents (except for residents of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
Employees of WCT are not eligible to enter this Contest.
3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES
After the Contest Period has ended, a random draw will be conducted by WCT from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The first selected contestant from the random draw to correctly answer the mandatory mathematical skill-testing question shall be declared the winner, subject to meeting all the conditions described in these Rules.
Selected winner(s) will be contacted via direct message on FB using the profile information provided to “Like” the “Contest” post on Facebook and should claim their prize as instructed by WCT by no later than 7 days after the date they are initially contacted. If a winner cannot be reached within 3 days following the first attempt of contact, incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question, declines the prize, or is otherwise found to be ineligible, the prize shall be forfeited and WCT has the right, at its sole discretion, to select another winner by random draw, if applicable.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S)
Contest prize is (2) WCT one year memberships. One for the winner and one for the contact of their choice. Taxes (including, but not limited to, departure taxes, air seat/airline taxes and applicable federal, provincial, municipal, state and/or local taxes)
The prize includes only what is specifically described and no other allowance will be granted. The winner and his/her travel companions will have to pay all other In-room movies
Limitation and Rules & Regulations:
You accept the prize “as is” otherwise it will be forfeited
The prize, and any portion thereof, is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash surrender value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions.
Value of each WCT one-year memberships is $160 each for a total of $320 including taxes. for one all-inclusive vacation for four (4) is $4,500 plus taxes.
5. GENERAL RULES
5.1. To be declared a winner of a prize as a result of a random draw, the selected contestant must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
5.2. By entering the Contest, you:
5.2.1 declare you have read, agree to and have complied with the Contest Rules;
5.2.2 declare you meet all criteria to enter the Contest and to accept and participate in the prize (if awarded);
